Hey all-
I was curious if a carbon fiber hood weathers well with low temps and snow.
I was told to watch out because it would break with a small rock hitting it.
Anyone have any experience with this. It would not be a cheap hood it would be VIS. Thanks in advance.

those are only for cheap hood's, get a Vis Hood, great quality in all weather conditions, the only that would break that hood is, no hood pins, siting on it, and yeah if a rock hit hard enough it would show a scratch or 2, but you could buff it out with wax like I do, I would recomend car wax(the same you use for your car), just to keep it looking great !! Oh Yeah! and if it snows where your're located at then wash you car including the hood at least 1 time every 2 two weeks, and everything should be dandy

so the tempeture changes won't be horrible on the hood from cold snow and a warm carwash?
