Yeah what kind of recall?

2000 Sentra SE w/Performance Package,5spd,Granite
Strobe lights in headlights, SMC STS, Gas cap holder, BridgeStone RE730 205x55/16s, Timing Advance @18 degrees, Mobil 1 5w30
Hopefully, they will replace those pieces of crap! I finally broke down and bought the rubber mats from Nissan. They are WAAAY better than the carpet mats.
My drivers side mat looked like it was out of a 2-3 year old car, but only had 1 month of use on it!

The mats in my civic were recalled b.c they were slipping and getting wedged up by the pedals. What they did was insall the little hook thingy so that they couldn't move anymore. I notieced that my Sentra came with that already in it when I bought it.
The car mats are being recalled because the fabric wear out too fast. My driver side mats are almost worn out completely and replaced once already. The recall will replace all four mats. This was a major complaint awhile back so maybe the newer B15's already have the good mats.
hey if thats true then thats cool i'll have a set of winter mats and summer mats

What's the latest on the matts recall. I went to the Alldata site and really did not find it very helpful. Maybe I missed something. BTW thanks to some of the info I received on Rainex and also the potential rusting of the tailpipes. I put several coats of wax on the pipes and buffed the windshield very thoroughly. I'm going to N.C. from Pa. tomorrow and 100 miles into the trip the vehicle will officially be broken in. 1000 miles. Supposed to rain quite a lot, be interesting to see how the windshield holds up with the glare I experienced earlier.
Later, guys and girls
