Well on the way home last night, I was crossing over a freeway the bridge and on the outer turn lane (2 lanes turn left onto the access road), light was already green, we went through, left cars stayed in there lanes, so did I. As soon as the turn ended, I saw this pickup that was in the left lane comin over into my lane, quick, and his door was next to my door, I had nothing else I could do except slam brakes, horn, and swerve to the right. Since I was in the outer lane, I slammed the curb, jumped it, and slid sideways with the car half on and off the curb and stopped. I was so pissed it was not funny. The guy just kept going and pulled into a kmart down the road. I got the car going again, seemd to drive okay, and parked in kmart near the guy. He came over and asked if I was okay, I was emoutionally pissed but I was fine. Anyways, going over my car, the new RE730 passenger side front took a major beaeting. Sidewall major rub, and marks all over it. Wheel surprisenly not touched! The sidewall protectors on these wheels protected it good!. Rest of car seemed okay. Go back on the access road and entered the freeway. Car drives straight but a very minute vib now is apparant. Not sure what is wrong, but this weekend I will be taking the wheel off and do a further inspection of the suspension, tire, wheel, etc.
Geez I hate idiots that don't look where they are going!
