I replaced battery and alternator. I was also told it could be the fuel pump but i would like to do a cheap fix so im hoping it would be senors. I checked the SE problem im throwing the p0725 code and p0335 code in my sentra 2006 1.8S. Would these senors cause my engine to shut off or is it really the fuel pump?

additional details- the car will crank and run for about 30 to 45 minutes and just shut off and crank back up maybe 5 to 10 minutes later. (which makes me believe fuel pump...

p0335 - crankshaft position sensor a circuit malfunction
p0725 - engine speed sensor input circuit malfunction

im guessing your battery and alternator needed to be replaced? to check the fuel pressure you may need to t the fuel line.

both of your codes are for youre crank sensor, but they are both circuit, so there is a possibility that harness connectors are caked up with dirt or the cam or crank sensor is not fully bolted down. otherwise, you should change both crank and cam position sensors. didnt you ever see your tach drop to 0 while the motor was running?
