Right as I spun em in first while racing the Si tonight (War Stories), my cluster light as well as the light for the AC controls goes out. I was like WTF so I had to shift by ear so I didnt redline it! Anyways what I was wondering is, should I take it to the dealership or just replace it myself. If so how hard is it to replace it and where can I buy one? Also, what kind of fuse is it?

Replacing the fuse is easy just look in your fuse box and find the blown fuse and pull it out and it'll tell you the size that is needed on it and go to any auto parts store and pick one up and replace it....

I actually seem to have developed a electrical problem. I replaced the blown fuse twice and all it did was blow it again. I'm taking it into Nissan tomorrow to get it fixed!

now it does sound like it's something more than a fuse deffinetly go to the dealer man and have it fixed.....keep us posted on what it was cause that was strange....

Bad news Ill. The sound mods are the likely culprit and probably will void the warrenty in this area.

How could it be the sound mods when I have had them in there for 2 weeks prior to this problem, I found the fuse that was blowing, it was the tail lamp fuse in the engine bay. My dad and I both made sure that we did everything perfect when installing, there are no loose power wires or anything. The negative battery terminal was also disconnected when all of this work was done. Another thing popped up today, the airbag light stays lit now. This really is starting to suck.

Mods should not void your warranty if you have them installed by a licensed dealer right? Anyway thats what the dealership where I bought my car said. If he lied to me I will be pissed!
That electrical problem sounds bad. My dad had a electrical problem like that in a Ford pickup (go figure) everytime he tried to hookup the trailer lights to the truck lights. Ford never could track down the bug and neither could another guy that specializes in those problems. My piece of crap Beretta had problems too. Condensation got into the car during a icestorm and caused all the interior lights to stick on. Had to keep taking out the fuse until we could get it to the mechanic. Never got that fixed right either, had to jerry rig the map lights with a on/off switch, let the floor bulbs burn out, and something else strange happened then, the damn clock in the CD player wouldn't come up anymore. Everything else on it worked though

Even if you did everything right, all they need is an excuse, and you tinkering with the electrics is more than enough of an excuse. They don't know that you did everything right, and you can't prove it.
