I desperately need a new IACV connector from an SR20DE roller rocker engine. (2000-2002 Nissan Sentra SE 2.0)

SR powered B15 and newer P11 cars should do the trick.

IACV CONNECTOR:

IACV connector is a big square purple one with 6 wires (2 rows of 3) right under the throttle body

Feel free to respond here or PM me.

Thanks!!!

ouch, that sucks. i would look at the wiring, and check the wires&fuses just in case there is a short or something somewhere. first time ive heard that happen from a bad iacv. use the fsm to check your voltages, and continuity, etc.

yea, i know what you mean. youd need to find a pigtail, maybe at the junkyard? just dont want to waste your time putting a new one in, then just connect it to have them burn up again, which wont be fun.

JP,

Yeah I ended up just getting a new IACV from AutoZone and sucking up the $200 bullet...only to find out that didn't completely solve the problem.

The old IACV solenoid was definitely bad as one of the two coils shorted internally...(verified by looking at schematics in FSM)

The new IACV behaved sporadically at first, revving all over the place from 2k to 3k and slowly dropping and then it just stopped working. I feared I had fried it, but after removing it again and doing resistance checks, both coil circuits "ohmed" out just fine.

My consensus is that those two melted/burnt up pins on the connector aren't making contact properly to that first coil circuit in the IACV solenoid, so I need to replace the connector to be 100% sure its not going to be an intermittent problem.

I could hardwire all 6 pins, but I really rather not do that...

Do you have a spare harness you want to part with or a chopped up one that still has the IACV connector on it?

I can't imagine there is much demand for a stock B15 harness these days... I may just suck it up and buy a whole harness from someone....

advise accordingly, good sir.
