Sorry I think I posted in the wrong section. Please help!
Hey guys, im getting 85 psi compression in all my cylinders and my thermostat keeps going up to hot and then coming back down and going up etc. Also my coolant levels went down recently. I just re did the whole head of the car like two months ago with a brand new gasket. What could be the issue?

did you try a different compression tester? maybe that one was out of calibration. you should be up around 170-180psi. hopefully your head job was done correctly.

as for the coolant, if your coolant went below min, it couldve ingested some air. does the thermo go up and down relatively fast? that would be air hitting the thermostats. but more importantly, are you sure the motor isnt consuming the coolant? this would be bad, maybe faulty headgasket or rebuild. hopefully you used the 07+ headgasket and headbolts. did you have the head shaved?
