it is possible you may have a slight rub while the wheel is turned, and it may hit the side skirt or plastic wheel well liner, you maybe ok and not even rub at all. the stock size is 215/45/17, so its slightly larger than stock, it also depends on brand and style of sidewall on the tire. if the sidewall is round, you will be fine.

i found a brand new set of michelens but they are 215 50's will the tire rub on my 02 spec v
