Hello all,

I am new here and just recently obtained a 2003 nissan sentra spec v, it already had some cheap ebay headers on it and I checked the butterfly screws their good. But I went ahead and replaced the headers for the DC Sport Race Header(4-2-1) with a Greddy 4" exhaust and put an AEM CAI on it. My question is what to do next? I have a body kit coming for it sometime this month along with a new spoiler. But I am wanting more performance ideas to put on the car. Anything besides turbo at the moment, I am wanting a good ecu tuner but can't seem to find one; any ideas?

well, since youve covered the musts, theres the basics you can do. from just having basic bolt-on parts, you can most likely manage with a just an afc. check out the newbie guide, its around here somewhere filled with cheap and beginner upgrades. also, you could consider a bc suspension, or a vq swap instead of a turbo

I would love to do a VQ Swap and have the money to do so, but am unsure of where to start. Heard some good/bad things about a guy named Travis and was thinking about getting in contact with him. Is a VQ swap something I could do myself if I had the required harness',ECU and Engine?

if you have the necessary tools, you can do the swap yourself. im not sure travis is still working on b15 anymore, i believe he's at hennessey? so you may not be able to contact him? as for gathering the required information for a vq swap, you can search on b15u.com, or talk to joe at 2jr. he will have some good info for you and should be able to supply you most/all of the necessary parts for the swap. if a vq swap is your goal, i would hold off on suspension/brakes/etc until you get that implanted.

Thanks for the information, but I guess if I do the VQ swap I will have to modify my suspension some the car came with Megan Racing lowering springs and KYB GR-2 struts installed. I will look around and see if I can acquire the necessary things for the swap. Thanks again.

You can get some performance pulleys they will add around 5-8 hp. Then you can remove the balancing shaft. That as well will be 8-10 hp gain. All of that will cost right about 300 dollars and 4 hours of your time.
