Guys.. I don't know what Honda was thinking, but man is that thing UGLY!!! I'd post the link, but its in the ClubSI forums. That thing will have nothing on the SE-R, nevermind the Spec V. Heck, I'll take my SE 2.0 over that ugly thing. Looks like a cross between a minivan and ford focus!

I was cruising the SI boards myself and saw that same thing and I agree that it's ugly as hell

I don't exactly know what Honda was thinking when they designed it. I mean, I don't care much for the Si Coupe, but it's 10 times better looking than that thing.

Fellas,

I jsut got back from the NY Auto show and that si looks like a piece of ****! :) Its fat bulbous and only 160hp to boot... There's no way that thing will compete with the SE-R. I think even Honda people may not even like it. I haven't gotten a chance to post my digicam pics yet but I'll post a link in the forums when I get a chance. BTW new Altima, Z, Q45 are DOPE CARS!

Edmunds.com is covering the NY show. Here's a link to their Si page. Yeah, I'm not sure what they're trying to do. The shifter is kinda cool, though.

I went to the NYC auto show yesterday too. That Si was so damn ugly. 1st thing I said was it looks like a Focus on crack. They picked the ugliest color to show it off in too. The shifter is in that weird spot. Only nice thing I saw about it was the seats. They looked real nice and supportive. I didn't take any pics of that car cause its just plain ugly!

Sometimes I wonder why they show off new cars in such ugly colors myself. In fact, Nissan did it too with a car that I was insanely anticipating back in January. The color on that 2003 Z concept was terrible, regardless of what people on freshalloy.com say about it being part of original Z heritage or whatever. And as a side note, the 2003 Z was something I was seriously considering to save up cash for. However, I've been keeping up with various photoshopped concept pictures in Japanese magazines for a long time and I liked at least a few of those better than the 2003 Z concept Nissan released in January. Supposedly, the final production version will be released in October in the Tokyo Auto Show. Thats what I heard at least. If they redo the front bumper and redo the back a bit, it will once again be a car I'd seriously save up cash for.

Flame me cuz I like it. :) I've always been a fan of hatches. It DOES kinda resemble a Focus though.

Hey...we're all entitled to our own opinion. I think it'd look better in another color. There were pictures of a silver Civic Type R hatchback floating around a while ago, and I kinda liked that. Like I said, I think it'll grow on me. So will the 2003 Z, even if they don't change anything when it goes into production...maybe.
