I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra Spec V and my steering wheel/car shakes when driving 60+ mph. When I take off the front left wheel and touch the rotor, it wobbles. Even with the wheel tightened on, it still wobbles when I move it with my hand. I replaced the wheel bearing about a year ago.

What is the problem with my car?

the rim itself is what bolts the rotor into place, once you take the wheel off, the rotor should fall off. so it should be tight and not wobble with the wheel torqued into place. in your case, i would question parts like ball joint or tie-rods.

with your wheel torqued down onto your rotor, can you grab the top and bottom of the tire (ball joint), does it wiggle? now grab the left and right (tie-rod), does it wiggle? but really there could may other things wrong, like torn / missing bushings in the suspension components. do you have pics or video?

Ball joints or tie rod ends could be the question, like i68k said....but just to go to the simplest, cheapest cause, are your tires properly balanced?

normally i wouldve said balance too, but hes saying his rotor wobbles, like its not bolted correctly or something. i know the 07+ sentra have the issue of unbalanced/bad rotors causing wobbles, but hes moving something with his hand. but i mean, something could be loose AND his wheel is also off balance. im waiting for him to respond.....

Even when the wheel is bolted on, the entire thing wobbles, in pretty much ever direction. I brought it to a garage to have it inspected and they said its the wheel hub and bearing. What you guys think?

Tires are probably not balanced anymore, but I am buying a new set this month or so.

we cant see, but if your wheel is bolted tight, all the drivetrain components should be tight, ie the balljoints tierods wheelbearings etc. so i cant say the mechanic is wrong, something down there is loose. i think the wheel bearings need to be pressed into the hub i believe.
