I went and got gas the other day and when i turned my car back on this sound was happening, and a burning kind of smell followed. kinda feels like it drags the rpms down when in nuetral..maybe im imagining that though.

i hear what sounds to me like a bearing going nuts at around 2,800rpm upwards and the obvious whirring noise coming from somewhere. as far as i can tell all pulleys are atleast spinning..any ideas would be great guys, i need this car back on the road asap and will probably be pulling it apart myself tomorrow...bt right now i have no clue what im even looking for...

from the video, and your statement, it sounds like your alternator is failing. check your battery terminals for tightness and good ground contact, then check your battery voltage with motor on & off. if the voltage is off, you probably need a new alternator, possibly a battery as well.
