02 ser spec v crank but no start

hey guys so I just recently bought my first Sentra it's a 2002 Sentra ser spec v, I got it knowing it was a non runner. previous owners said they did camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor but I haven't double checked. no check engine light and no spark. I plopped a junkyard ecu out of another 02 spec v and I still have no spark. I just did the fuel pump aswell after finding out it wasn't clicking on. the previous owners also HAD a command start but pulled it out as they thought it was the problem. all I know is the car was driving to work and boom dead then trailered home and left. I'm new to sentras aswell so as much help is needed before I start dumping money into it.
thanks

When you turn the key into position 1 your fuel pump should prime the system. If you listen closely, you should be able to hear a faint hum for a few seconds. If you don't hear this then your fuel pump probably died. There should always be pressure in the fuel system as well.

Crankshaft sensor will also cause no-start because the ECU needs to know the position of the crank to know when to fuel/spark. Older cars may have still used distributors. They do the same job mechanically, but I know less about failure modes of distributors. Somebody else would have to chime in if this is the case.

fuel pump isnt turning on with the key so I put a new pump in and set it to a secondary switch. I know the car is getting fuel. I will pull the crankshaft sensor and replace it and then see what happens. thanks
so I checked all the fuses and the eccs fuse was popped, changed it but still nothing. checked the coilpacks and they were caked in oil. put a set of coilpacks off a scrapyard car and it now will try to start on quick start but that's it. could it possibly be my fuel injectors? would it be a bad idea to replace them since they are cheap on amazon
solved the problem, my scrapyard car ecu didn't work and the eccs fuse was popped. put the stock ecu back in and fired up. only thing I gotta do now is the crankshaft sensor as I am pulling a code for it and the car acts a little funny while full pinned
