Thump sound when applying brakes
I have a 2006 Nissan Sentra S. I was wondering if anyone came across this problem. Whenever I apply the brakes I hear a thump sound coming from the front passenger side. It won't do it when the car is rolling or slowing down to a stop. Only when the vehicle is at a stand still and the transmission is engaged on drive or reverse. If it's on park or neutral it will not make the bump sound. I am not stopping on the break either, just applying the brakes normally makes a thump sound every time. Could it be the lower control arm?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
