well damn, i haven't had a chance to follow this whole thread, but I just read the whole thing today, and from where that was to where it's at right now, that is a damn good job man. I wish I back home in NY, i was only about 45 mins away from CT. I lived in Rockland County. I definitely don't have the skill to do that work, and I wish I did because damn do I ever have plans for mine.

The Big Ol' List of stuff I did since I've owned the car

Basic car information:

2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V.
Red, with red and black interior
Fully equipped, Rockford Fosgate audio package with subwoofer, sunroof, etc.
77,7xx miles currently, purchased with 71,xxx miles.

Modifications and Repairs:

Engine / Drivetrain:

Cleaned every inch of the engine bay, washed and degreased.
Pulled engine to rebuild it.
Cleaned engine and all parts inside and out and transmission.
Painted transmission 6 coats of high temperature black engine enamel.
Painted valve cover 3 coats of gold paint and 3 coats of clear coat.
New Nismo Radiator Cap
New power steering lines from reservoir to cooler.
Head gasket and every other gasket in engine from top to bottom replaced.
Brand new OEM Nissan head bolts.
Did a valve adjustment, replaced all 16 lifters with new ones.
Brand new NGK Iridium spark plugs.
Changed out faulty AEM cold air intake which had a 100% rusted filter. Replaced with 2006 Spec V stock intake with brand new OEM
Sent the head to get machined and resurfaced and cleaned.
Installed JWT valve springs in head, installed with new valve seals.
Used Ultra Blue permatex RTV throughout the engine where necessary
Using only Honda OEM oil filters.
Changed over to Mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic engine oil.
Installed new OEM Nissan thermostat on engine bottom end.
Installed new OEM Nissan water pump.
Installed new OEM Nissan lower 02 sensor.
Flushed transmission out twice, and filled transmission with GM synthetic 75w90 rear end fluid, transmission now shifts excellent.
Loctited the butterflies inside of the intake manifold.
Since the both the head and block are aluminum, they should run at the same temperature. The car from the factory has the head running at 200 degrees and the bottom end at 175. This is why we have two thermostats. I run my cars hard, and this will not be acceptable if you plan on running the car hard. This temperature difference will warp the head and pop the head gasket once again. So I took the thermostat on the head, cut it out, pressed in a piece I made, and just made it a restrictor, this way the coolant still flows with pressure and takes heat with it, and makes the entire engine run ~175-180 degrees.
Installed 2006 semi used OEM exhaust manifold, gutted the catalytic converter inside to prevent it from clogging and blowing the engine.
Installed 2006 semi used OEM midpipe with catalytic converter and catback exhaust, with all new metric hardware.
Installed new vacuum canister and switches
Installed Clutchmasters Stage 1 clutch kit with new throwout bearing.
Bled coolant system
Replaced coolant temperature sensor

Suspension / Brakes / Wheels:

Installed 2006 Spec V wheels only 10k miles on them
Installed 215/45ZR17 Continental Contisport Contact tires with roughly 90% tread still remaining.
Installed semi used mint Tein S-Tech springs all around.
Installed new black Energy Motor Mount Inserts.

Interior:

Replaced many interior pieces all with brand new OEM Nissan parts: top bin, hvac control cover, panel under that, new cup holder, shift boot, mirror switch, etc.
Took out seats, carpetting, center console, trunk matting, spare tire and jack to clean entire interior. Reinstalled everything after being cleaned.
Washed the shell on the inside.
Cleaned seats, and restored the color back with shampooing.
Cleaned carpeting and floor mats, and shampooed out spots on carpet.
Washed all glass.
Armor-Alled all plastic pieces, and cleaned all plastic pieces from back to front.
Installed Alpine CVA-1004 6.5" screen/deck, but will be taken out and replaced with stock Rockford Fosgate head unit.
Installed JDM Air Spenser blue air freshener unit with squash scent.
Cleaned gunk and paste that was stuck inside of the center console.
Installed OEM upgraded Sentra rear trunk carpet.

Exterior:

Installed brand new OEM headlights.
Installed brand new OEM taillights.
Installed every single brand new OEM badge.
Installed another brand new SE-R rear trunk badge up on the front grille.
Installed brand new gloss black Vortekz Vortex Generators, all correctly angled.
Cleaned every inch of the car, outside, wheel wells, and undercarriage.
Claybarred entire car's exterior, then waxed with Turtle Wax synthetic paste, brought back the color to the bumpers.
Painted the grilles on the bumper high temp black, has a nice rough valve cover bumpy look to it.
Pulled out front left fender where car was hit, to make the car look presentable.
Removed damaged rear crash bar and supports.
Washed all glass.

What the car needs:

Oil change due at 78,000 miles. That would be 3000 miles. I recommend only using synthetic oil preferably 5w30 or 10w30 at the most.
Rear crash bar and supports.
New rear bumper.
New front bumper.
Many various plastic clips for underbody plastic pieces under the engine, side skirts, front bumper, and grille.
Needs splash shield on driver side if you plan on using a cold air intake, that way no water gets soaked into the filter.
Rear trunk latch works manually from outside but the switch will not open it from the inside. The switch works fine, trunk just needs to be aligned correctly to make it open.
Coolant gauge reads hot, almost 30 seconds after car is cold started it reads that its overheating. The car is NOT overheating, the thermostat is opening. It probably needs a coolant temperature sensor once again. This time install softly and using teflon tape, make sure not to overtighten. After I first replaced it the gauage did work, then a week later it was inop once again. The car runs a solid 180 degrees maximum, which is operating temperature. All fans kick on too.
Paint job since paint is coming off and chipping.
New floor mats, they are beyond cleaning, tried many times, even with a steamcleaner.
