So, I bought 2 brand new cars on the same day on FEB 11th
A Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L for me, and a Jeep Renegade for the wife. Got outstanding deals on both of them. The Accord was 28K out the door (on a 34K sticker - it was a straight trade in with only $500 on my part, seriously), and the Renegade 21K out the door, on a 26K sticker.
I cannot overstate what an awesomeness the Accord is. Averaging 43mpg, and I drive it nowhere nearly a "reasonable manner," LOL. I have hit mid 50's on trips driving it "properly."
VERY pleasantly surprised on the (FIAT) Renegade. No complains at all.
As of 2 days ago, I also got a nice late 2014 Honda CTX700 with the DCT transmission, and ABS
. Win-win: 1000mi on it, 4.7K out the door (private sale). Less that half, if you add dealer fees and tax, of a new price of 8.6K for a 2017.
What else... Beginning of March, I dropped the last 21K left and paid off the house. Took me less than 11 years.
On other news, I will probably be quitting my job - tired of the BS
