Pros: Shortest throw ive ever felt.
Cons: stiff as f@ck

This is the shortest throw iv felt. Feels like a stick in a box of rocks though. Great price and if someone asked me if they should buy em' or not, id say wtf r u waitin' for.

Pros: Fore & Aft shifts shortened, shifter feel much improved
Cons: More effort required to shift

I\'d like to start off with a clarification.

The Nissan Motorsports Shifter, is the same as the Stillen Shifter. Neither company actually makes this.

A company known as Fastshift.com is the actual manufacturer. It\'s enscribed right on to the re-enforcement bracket.

That being said, the shifter feels great. Shift quality is much improved, removing the vague, disconnected feeling associated with the stock configuration.

Installation is a little time consuming, involving the removal of the entire center console. This seems much harder than it actually is.

Recommend lubricating all heim joints on the short shifter kit when done, as well as the main shift lever base.

Blue Loctite all screws to ensure no surprises down the road.

Impressions are good, and probably meet the claim of a 40-45% reduction in throws.

As with any short shift kit, the reduction in distance thrown requires a corresponding increase in effort. After about a week though, you don\'t even notice anymore.

Pros: greatly decreases the distance needed to shift
Cons:

an outstanding product sold by nismo. as with all short shifters the effort needed to shift is increased, however the actually shift is decresed to about 40-45%. tightens up the gearbox in the fore and aft directions. if you are looking for a shifter that helps with the side to side distance, look somewhere else, nismo doesnt sell one....that i know of :P
