Pros: Reduced body roll and lower stance.
Cons: Harsh ride after 1.2" or lower

Because the Tein Basics lack adjustability to the strut(s), it becomes very restrictive as to the amount you are able to lower your vehicle. Tein recommends a drop of 1.2" and no lower which is more then enough for the everyday driver.

Body roll is greatly decreased and the car is almost on rails but not quite there. After owning the Tein Basics for 2 years (including two winters) they are starting to show their age, and by that I mean the struts as they have loosen'd.

Overall, great investment for the amount of money you are spending, but I'd recommend dishing out another $150-$200 for the fully adjustable Tein SS.

Pros: Lower stance, great handling.
Cons: Stiff ride if lowered a good amount.

If you and your passengers can handle a little stiffer ride, the handling with this kit is amazing. The Tein SS would probably be a better choice if you want it low but don't want quite as stiff of a ride.
