These are ultra high performance summer only tires. They are quiet and give the car a better ride then the stock specv tires. They dont have enough steering response in my book for fun in the twisties. The sidewall has one ply of polyester. That means what you gain in ride quality, you loose in initial turn in. They are a perfect tire for someone who wants a tire for a smooth, quiet ride. They can squeal if you push them too hard on some road surfaces. A big plus about these tires is that they are very predictable in hard driving. In the rain, they hold the road very good, but they are new and the true test of a good tire on wet surfaces comes to play when the tires are a little worn. I wouldnt buy these again due to the soft sidewalls as I explained earlier by means of steering response.

If you're looking for a pretty good tire for a decent price. These will work. They get excellent wet traction, lateral as well as foward. I have only had 1 set other than the stock tires, so I can't say they're that great or that horrible compared to their competitors, but better than the stockers.
