Description:

The new Axxtion Short Throw Shifter for the Nissan Sentra 2002 thru 2006+ SE-R, Spec V, & 2.5LE is now available for all 67mm tranny shift levers. This new Axxtion Short Throw Shifter works on mechanical principles that offer a 45% reduction in throw.
This Axxtion Short Throw Shifter also works on the Altima and Maxima 2002 thru 2006+ with 67mm tranny shift levers. The Axxtion Short Throw Shifter was designed using the highest quality 7075-T6 aluminum materials. It was designed on the latest high end engineering software and machined on the most current late model CNC Machining Centers.
Best of all is that the Axxtion Short Throw Shifter will be offered delivered in the US and Canada for the total price of only $65.00.
Nissan has been installing 2 different transmission mounted shifter levers in some of their models and are found underneath the airbox. The two Nissan transmission pieces are different lengths. One is 67mm between the center of rotation and the post holding the cable, while the other is 55mm between the center of rotation and the post holding the cable. All tranny mounted short throw shifters are designed for the 67mm part and will not fit on the 55mm piece. The Axxtion Short Throw Shifter will fit any 67mm tranny shifter.

There is alot of controversy about this sts. But when it comes down to everything it kicks ***. Best mod for you money by far. Install in less than 5 minutes. Superior customer service.

I keep hearing this mess about it hitting off the cup holder and the clutch line....I had no problems at all with it hitting anything. The shifts are greatly improved. I love it and for the price....can't beat it!

Pros:

Quick Install, snappy shifts
|
|
Cons:
|
5th gear is a strange angle from 4th
|
|
Great product, simple to install, took me 15 minutes for both halves. Does not include a shorter stick or weighted knob. Mechanical parts only. On mine, I needed to coax the engine compartment piece into place with some very light tapping from a rubber mallet.
If you do not install the cable extender, 1st gear is all the way up in the front corner of the shifter area, and 4th gear is just a tad forward of stock neutral. Shifting is much more comfortable once the extender is installed.
Free shipping, looks great under the hood and looks stock in the cabin.
