how to remove front seats?

well i got some seat covers and i tried my hardest to get them on without removing the seats but it's just too much of a PITA..my fingers are all cut and sore as hell so i think that if i take the seat off it will be much easier..however im unsure of how to do it..from what i can tell the front of the seats are just held in with bolts but how do u get the back part off? thanks

There's 4 bolts. Move the seat all the way back, take out the front two, and then move the seat all the way forward to take out the back two bolts. It's sooooo easy. And I'll hold my RICE!! comments to myself

I'm just messin' with you dude. It's your car

I felt like a dumbass when I was installing my racing seats, too. It took me like 15 minutes to realize how much easier it is if I'd just move the damn seat!!! lol good luck dude.....

yeah i took apart the seat rail to fabricate for the new seats im putting in, took me twelve hours to do exactly NOTHING! what a waste. i just bought some rails and am waiting for them to be shipped here. I havent had a passenger seat for about a month and a 1/2 now.
Oh yeah its awesome to take out the the front seats when detailing the inside. you'd be amazed what gets under those things.

there are four bolts that hold down the seat bracket, which is attached to the seat.

do not attempt to remove just the seat.

Knowing Nissan, I would guess either a 10mm or a 12mm. On a side note, I think this should win an award for nearly a decade old thread revival.
