I'm afriad that eastern Mass doesn't have a monopoly on private sub shops. There are plenty of privately owned delis and sandwich shops around here that are awesome (yes, awesome... Mass doesn't have a monopoly on good food either), but I don't think that's what this thread is about.

The other sub thread going on if Off Topic has a poll that includes an "Other" category. You can vote there.

Jason's Deli is really good. Great salads, etc. But Subway has better sandwiches.

I did vote in the "other" and commented that i felt the other ones weren't good....did i miss something? I thought the thread was about sub shops? I never said anything about us having a monopoly...i ve just been to other parts of the country, and i actually have a good friend who goes to school down their in Georgia and says the take out sucks compared to up here....sorry i won't be different and express my opinions! LOL Have you ever been here to compare? i know there are private sub shops...just not as good!

I see how it is!!! You deliberately quoted me just so that you could pick on a dumb southerner for misspelling "afraid!"

I have some sort of pent-up bitterness toward Mass... I don't know why. Perhaps it's the ex-gf who was always making it sound like heaven on Earth and telling me how shitty every other place was in comparison.

Just ignore me in the future when I berate New England as a whole. I'm talking out of my ass.

Other!

Hey, if any of y'all come to Phoenix, look me up. I'll take you down to Cheba Hut, "the home of the toasted sub," and I'll show y'all what a real sub is.

Subways around here chew sack, owned by cheap bastards who don't give a dick about product quality or customer service. Quizno's on the other hand, oh my the beauty of a sandwich.
