WTB: QR25DE in running condition

Like the title says, I want to buy a QR25DE engine in running condition. My brother recently bought an '02 Spec V with a bad engine, so we need one to get the car running. I'm preferring something in the NY, NJ, PA, VA, MD or DE area, since I can personally drive and pick the engine up in any of those states but if the price is right I can consider getting one shipped from somewhere else. if youre in the ny area, check out the classified on b15u.com, there a lot of people from ny on there. how bad was the old engine, is it rebuildable?

i got an engine from LKQ a few months ago a little more expensive but guaranteed and delivered and replacement warranty available

I'm gonna have to check that classified out...I'm residing in PA but I can make the trek to NY in any case...

The old engine was a victim of the Pre-Cat failure on the hands of the previous owner, and it had a really bad knock...since my bro and my dad didn't have a dolly for the pickup truck to tow it here they tried to baby it from West Chester to Allentown and it ended up blowing through piston #4. So it definitely needs replacement. Thank God for Progressive's roadside assistance, LOL!
