Removed washer fluid tank - Now car wont turn over

2002 GXE 1.8 with 168k miles
I noticed my washer fluid tank was pretty much sitting on the ground yesterday morning. Turns out the bracket it was attached to broke off. I simply decided to remove it. I recall there being 2 electrical wires and just the one hose for the fluid. Anyways, the car immediately started after I was messing with it however, the next morning it now won't turn over. It just sits there trying to start. All lights are coming on meaning the battery is in somewhat good shape. I guess.

What on earth did I do?

slight update: I noticed the fuse marked wiper was blown so I replaced it with another 20a. Car still wouldn't start and it blew the new fuse.

Sounds like you have a ground with one of the two wires you removed. Why don't you put your tank back in, hook the wires back up and see what happens form there.

it is hard to say, hopefully the tank didnt fall out while you were driving. its possible when the tank fell it yanked on the wires, causing the to break somewhere. you did tieup and protect those wires yes? but like jp said, if the fuse is popping when you put it in, theres a power wire grounded or vice versa. check your lose wires and make sure your windows wipers and stuff are off when you put the next fuse in.
