2005 Nissan Sentra Startup?
I'm looking into buying a 2005 Nissan Sentra from my friend. It has 68,000 miles on it, and runs like a beauty. However, if I try to crank it up right away, it will just keep cranking and will never actually turn over. Ive seen discussions that this could be because of the fuel pump, and that some people have to let it be on the "ON" position for a couple seconds then it would crank up (which is what I had to do). I don't have a problem with doing this, I just want to make sure that this isn't going to be a bigger problem down the road.
Should I buy the car, or look for another? He's asking $4900 |

well, if your looking for a sentra, almost ALL of them have this fuel problem that you speak of. there are 2 common ways around this problem.
1-prime your fuel on restart a. motorOFF, keySTART, for 2-3 seconds listen for fuel pump ringing b. while keySTART, then press the clutch pedal to start the motor 2-add a check valve to the fuel line
