Exclamation Flywheel Issue

I recently purchased an F1 Racing Chromoly Flywheel (http://f1racingclutchsystem.com/products/fwlwc.html) along with their Stage 1 Clutch setup. I had it installed at the Nissan dealership and am having all kinds of problems since then. Twice since the install and inside a month it's been back in the shop. The first time they had to replace the clutch adapter and this time they said that the Flywheel itself looks to be rubbing and causing all the problems as it is thicker than the stock. They are going to replace it with a stock, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Anyone put an aftermarket in and had all kinds of issues? This seems really strange to me.

Has anyone had experience with this flywheel? Is there a special setup for aftermarket flywheels in the QR motor and trans?

I heard mostly bad reviews about f1 flywheels and 1 good review. I would doubt it that the dealership would install the flywheel and clutch incorrectly since it's not something difficult. Are you sure you got the right flywheel for your car? That's the only thing i can think off.

not sure on solutions, a lot of people have problems with the f1 flywheel. did your shifting problems start when you installed the new flywheel? hopefully youve checked/changed your gear oil, as a bad level makes it hard to get into certain gears. its always hard to get into reverse, there's no synchro for reverse.

damn sorry to hear, the reviews are bad though on this product. You should have considered the 2j-racing fly wheel.

I had the chromoly flywheel installed last year. Was great on the beginning, but over the winter it started to rattle. Rattle stops when I push the clutch pedal. Sometimes its a little harder to put it to 1st gear. I will probably continue to drive on it until something breaks.

This rattle is bothering me a little because when I remote start my car and is standing on the street it sounds a little like engine going bad which is not true because its from the clutch.

I've installed mine over 3-4 yrs ago no issues what so ever. How well do you know the tech or service advisor at the dealership. I can't believe that they would install your parts.

I just noticed the rattle stops when I push the shifter lever little to the front. Is there any way to adjust the shifter?
