Question radio problem!!

one of my family members has a 03 sentra GXE, and shes having problems with the stereo in the car, its the stock radio. the problem is that when she turns-on the radio her blinkers stay on until she disconnects the battery, and when she hit a bump on the road the radio cuts off, and comes back on.
im going to take a look at it this weekend, but i want to know what could be the possible problem???? what should i check for??

I'm not sure about the blinker/radio problem, but check the blue wire going to the radio. That's your ignition wire and might have a short somewhere along the line.

Check the hazard button wires and the radio wires, seems like they are touching.

or the antenna coulda come loose dumbass

we already said it could be a short which is why i said "x2" and since the deck uses the antenna as a ground if it is loose it will completely stop playing radio and cds, not just static it is more likely for the antenna to be loose than for the harness to come apart

oh and nice job bringing up a dead thread noob

yeah /thread. the antenna is used for FM ONLY. The Radio is known as a body ground... try it... remove the radio, and with everything plugged in. try turning it on... only when the machine makes contact with the radio body will the radio turn on.
