Question Disable turn signal while headlights on?

Hey i was just wondering if it was possible to disable the turn signal while the headlights were on except for actually signaling a turn i.e. blinking. The reason i ask is because i have luminics blue headlights and yellow fogs...rice i know...flame away...but it just looks weird/goofy with the turn signals on all the time...tried silverstars and clear..didnt like it. Any info would be appreciated...

I'd like to know if that is possible, as well :-).
Luminics ultra white headlights, piaa extreme white turns...dont match at all when im not actually using the turn signal, so it goes from blueish white in the headlights to f'in green in the turns, unless i flash them and then they match well.

Um, I could be wrong but I would imagine that amber colored corner lights are need to be present while the headlights are on (which normally signals dismal weather or night time)

But I'm honestly not sure, don't take me verbatim.

how about a way to get them to stay on "hot" all the time, I mean at their brightes point so that the lights look much brighter and also a better color match.
Bulbs are two cycle, and the second one is the brightest when the signal is activated.
Any wiring gurus want to put any input.?

How would one tell when your turn signals are on?

If I am correct, all you would have to do is switch the "hot" wire with the parking light wire. And there your lights will burn brighter.

Why not just get your park lights to match your headlights? I personally, took off the orange in the bulbs and I just have clear bulbs now. When I have my signal on, the bulb still blinks a little orange from the side marker.

what do you mean by switch the wires??
If I were to switch the wire, wouldnt it end up being the same thing, as the bulbs are parking/turn?Diagram perhaps, as I really want to do this?
Thank you,
Ilya

Well, if you look at your socket, it should be 3 wires. 2 hot wires and 1 ground wire. I'll go out and voltmeter it tomorrow, but technically if you switch those 2 hot wires, it should make the brighter end of the bulb shine instead of the dimmer end. I could be wrong, but in theory this should all be correct. Because if you put power to one side of the bulb, the brighter of the 2 lights should come on.

sounds reasonable. I appreciate the voltmeter thing....to switch the wires, do they just yank right out or is cutting/wirejoining required?

It would shut off and blink when the turn signal was activated.

personally I prefer the always on method, just with the bulb being "hot"at all times. It would look cool and be legal....still waiting on confirmation with the voltmeter/answer to my question(no rush though, just really curious)

Because looks are more important than people knowing your turning intentions.
