Success adding a tach to the QG18DE with the Apexi i-moni

Well I got it today and installed it and it worked as soon as i plugged it into the OBD2 port. It powers itself from the port so there is only one wire and the tach is real time and has two sample rate settings, fast and slow, I use the fast one but I see where the slow can also be benificial to some as the digits change very fast. All of the 5 guages work, Tach, Speedo, Intake temp, Water temp, and volts, all of them save their max value as well which is nice to review after a drive. I am very pleased with it myself, got mine from www.turboimport.com, seems to have the best price I could find.

You do not have a true RPM value. I do believe you are still robbed around 500rpm.

Antonio theres a option for you...just do not think you would have a true RPM readout.

How about some pictures for us dial-up users.

The reason I am asking...I want to get rid of my current tachometer for another one thats smaller(RPM readout and shift light is ideal).

The only bad thing...not accurate as putting the signal wire directly on the signal wire.

My speedo is right on the dot. Tachometer is ~500rpm off.
