Phill, how is the fit of the flowmaster under the car? Do you have any rattling? Did you have to modify (bend) the heat shield to clearance the muffler? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It did take a little bit of times getting the right angle, but theres no rattling whatsoever.
I used my father pipe expander on the vibrant pipping and then used some C clamps to secure the muffler in place.
It was much easier then trying to weld it in place.

BTW I've added a couple sound clips over on the VBoard

That great Phill, cheap and do the job.

I'm just aware of 2 things:

1. With the muffler/resonator so close or even touching the car body, is there any vibration, noise or rattle conducted into the cabin?

2. With this big can, is there any risk it knock something on the ground?

It's not touching anywhere.
But yes, There is some resonance sound under full throdle from 4K to 4800RPM. But other then that she's very quiet under normal driving conditions. Ya I might have lost a couple HP up top because of the decrease on exhaust flow, however I'm happy with the trade off noise\loss in power ratio.

I didn't lose any ground clearance what so ever,
the rear axel hangs lower than any of my pipping \ muffs. I said muffs
