btw....anyone know much about synthetic oil? my car currently has 47k miles on it...been using 10w30 from the nissan dealership (i think). do you think i should make the switch? i heard its better for the engine and so...(sorry im a noob at this stuff. =P)

i read alot of posts on here about synthetic oil. still not too sure if its worth it..

I think it's worth it. My car seems to run better on it. If you drive a lot you will save money on the extended periods between changes.

Must be pretty good tires to run without weights and not vibrate even worse. Next time look to see that the work someone says they did was actually done.

I do like the 0-30w german castrol syntec oil, however the main advantage is that you can wait longer between oil changes. It is better at startup, though. Then, thin is in.

im running Motul 8100 X max full synthetic 5W30 oil in mine

as far as im concerned synthetic should be the only way to go, its in all points (cept price) better then mineral oil.

Anyways america is the last place on earth where we still put mineral oil in our cars... europe doesnt use mineral oil ( they havent for the past 20 years) and not sure about japan but id say they dont anymore either...
