Hello. My name is Mike and I am the first owner of my 2001 Sentra GXE with the 1.8L. In May of this year, I got my dream job. I never knew it existed, but I get paid to drive around the Shenandoah Valley of VA delivering auto parts to garages in Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro, where I live. I cross Afton Mountain four times every day over the course of two runs. I average about 350 miles/day. The day I started the job I had 199,973 miles. I am currently sitting at 242,000 and change. Over the last 42K miles I have replaced the CPS, thermostat, and one ignition coil. The car ran great until about three weeks ago when it wouldn't start 24 hours after running some errands with nary a hiccup. I came here to get some Nissan specific help since I would love to keep it running. I still get 35mpg, it rides as quiet as the day I bought it, and it's paid for. I'm probably getting common issues at around the same mileage as everyone else, but I'm racking up the miles quicker than most.
