My 2006 Sentra has ~103,000 miles on it. I have never serviced power steering fluid and planning to flush it. I just want to confirm if my understanding is correct in the image below on where to open the power steering line to perform the flush.
Am I supposed to use automatic transmission fluid (Nissan Matic-D type fluid) or Nissan Power Steering fluid? I find conflicting information on the web. FSM suggests either but for Canada only, what gives?
I'm here because I'd like to know too. Seems a little funny that they would say you can only do this on Canadian models to be honest. If it were me, I'd get it done professionally once just to see how the workshop guys do it and take note of it moving forward.
