Let me go see if i can pick up a couple of sacks of moldy-azz mexi-weed to puff through a bong full of leaded gasoline & yak piss to knock me down to where i think that is a good idea...

It'll work i just gotta find a yak, brb.

For what purpose? Looks? Go ahead and buy the MR springs, just hope you have good dental insurance for when you lose all your fillings.

If you're looking for handling, find springs with higher rates and a more moderate drop. Dropping a B15 2" like the MR and Sprints do is beyond retarded.

Everything's on the first page of this thread

Moderate drop, good rates=Eibach Pro-Kit (not Sportlines).

should the rear spring rate always be stiffer than the front with coilovers?

I was always happy with my H&R and they did come with spring rates.. I'll have to go see if I can dig up the literature on them.

If you mean the BC Racing BR type (D02 is the part # for the B15), yes I love mine. Check out my garage. You can get any spring rate you want with damper valving to match. Just find Smokinjoe on the forums or 2jracing.
I like that ride height is independent of spring height and strut travel.

So my suspension setup is...

I've got the Eibach springs (the ones with the least amount of drop)and my struts are Sachs, standard valved for my Spec V. Could this setup be mis-matched enough for it to ride so rough? Or should I try a set of the Tanabe GF springs with a lower stiffness before doing, and spending, something drastic?
All I want is just a little lower stance than the OEM ride height.
Any input or opinion would be greatly appreciated.

When you buy cheap, you get cheap. Lowering your car with only springs will destroy your shocks fairly quickly.
