I believe this is the info. you never want your dealer to see. I think this is what tells them max rpm, max vehicle speed, etc. Might be a good idea to leave the battery disconnected 24 hours before any warranty related trip to the dealer.

So bottom line, the battery resets some stuff, but in a lot of cases it does dick.

And if your light is on, find out why, don't just reset it.

Case closed.
