Perfect for my first post lol I just joined... i got a 290k (km) sentra... and the the fuel pressure is real low (i had diagnostics done)... need a new pump because apparently i cant replace just the filter... they quoted me $500 for parts and labour (local mechanic shop)... but ive seen filters online for half the price... should i go for one of those and save myself almost $200... (if anyone wants to refer one feel free)

Can you link one dude? Cuz as far as I know the only filters we have is 1 in the tank (the sock) & 2 the micron filter that's inside the fuel injectors. We can always fab up an inline filter for extra protection, just cut the fuel line and put one in. I wouldn't recommend it though. And yea buy the nissan fuel pump module and install it yourself. Just follow the FSM instructions. It's not that hard. You can access the pump like shannon said under the back seat.

I think he is referring to the part being under like a 30 day warranty or something.

So, how long is a day in metric?

OP, the walbro unit is a common swap for our lameazz stock units, but it isn't a direct fit. There's a swap thread somewhere on here; i think shannon did it.

I was referring to the parts warranty.... ive had some bad experiences with new non-oem parts... just wondering if its just as safe going with another brand of pump rather than oem
