Mobil One is working fine for my son and I. The big advantage to Mobil One is that everyone carries it. If you do your own changes, there are probably better choices. Will be switching the Maxima to it next time. (The first change was Dino for free, free is always good!) Whoops almost forgot, 5W-30!!!!!

I have a 1979 F150 with a 351 engine and I was on my way home and it started to overheat. I have a true temperature gauge in the truck and by the time I got to my home it was pegged on 280 degrees. I know the only thing that saved my engine was the Castrol 10w 40 motor oil in it. Thank you for a great oil.

Used to be. Now they are just another overpriced Group III oil.

I need to figure out a new signature.

Doesn't really matter. If you get 100K on a QR25, you're lucky! And Dino will do that! LOL!!! But to answer the original question, I think 5/30 covers all but the most extreme conditions. If you need anything other than that, you should move!

Is Royal Purple really as good as its made out to be?
Where the hell can I find it? I never seen it at any autopart store in my area.

Nope, RP is a marketing gimmick. It actually on UOA have shown poor results on many cars. If you want a good oil, buy one that is good. M1, PP, Amsoil, Redline. Stay away from the Purple.
