Long read. I put in about 4.5 quarts, IIRC. I always change the filter (changes amount of oil).

You can download a FSM (manual) on phatg20.net for a small donation or free if you are a cheap bastid.

usually a 4cyl uses 4 on an oil change. I always buy 5 so I can top off. my b18b (1834 cc) used almost exactly 4 qts. It was perfect every time.

Finally! Someone understands and realizes that the QR25 can handle 5 qts of oil. It's not a small 4-cyl engine, therefore it would require more than 4qts.

User manual also says not to modify your car with aftermarket stuff, but people here do it anyways

I actually didn't (like a moron) and then i found out my 1.8 takes less than 3 quarts. Can you believe that sh*t? Most motorcycles take more than that. I think the owners manual says 2 7/8 quarts or something. I couldn't believe it. I asked my buddy to read it, only after i re read it like 20 times. I even pulled out the nissan service manual, yep 2 7/8 quarts. WHAT THE HELL? Good news is, i found out that my oil changes won't cost as much as i may have thought, which is nice since i always use full synthetic.
