What's the name of the right angle "valve" connecting the intake duct to valve cover?

Maybe not enough words allowed in the title to describe what I'm talkin about....

By "intake duct", I mean the duct between the air filter box and the throttle body. There are 3 holes in this duct... one on bottom, which doesn't look like it does all that much... second which is very, very thin which is coming out the back, toward the firewall... and the third is directly on top, and it's a right angle "adapter" (not necessarily a valve) that connects this air duct directly to the valve cover.

Anyway.... I've been needing to remove this air duct nearly a half dozen times to figure out a no idle problem (aka: stall at idle only)... and this last time, as I'm removing this right angle adapter on top of the duct (with pliers on the hose clamps, mind you), it just snapped right in half.

I think it's called a PTC valve on my Volvo, but not sure what it is called on this Sentra. You guys think I'll be able to order this from an auto parts store, or will this be a dealer only item??

a pic would point out this part better. im not sure which you are talking about. the vent has the 90deg bend on the top of the valve cover, the pcv screws into the valvecover and comes out rather straight with the hose bending towards the intake. either way, a large vacuum leak would account for your stalling at idle. cant think of the 3rd hole, if not a qr, might be like iacv hose or something.

I'm assuming the PCV is "in" the valve cover... Then this is what connects the air duct to that PCV valve.

It's not a "vent",per se, because it allows flow in both directions. Went to the parts store, and they had some PCV "elbows", but none fit this Sentra. It's a 2001 GXE, btw.

Think I'm just gonna glue it together with some 2-part epoxy.

I've tried a new TPS switch, and it didn't help the idle... And there's already a new IAC valve. I'm convinced that the wet IAC valve harness plug shorted out something in the ECU. I've finally adjusted the "non-adjustable" idle screw on the throttle body... And it seems to be fairly normal driving today... Besides the first crank where it stalled out instantly. But after that, it's been totally normal.
