Yea Chuck its Democratic Gun Grabbers at work. Its beyond me why folks keep electing these drones except for the fact that they mirror their constituents. You might want to look at making your getaway by at least buying some land in a Republican state.

As a practical matter though...this issue won't affect us. I am way more concerned about the Debt. We will be maxed out by the end of OBummer's presidency.

Now the latest brainstorm from our legislature is for gun owners to have to purchase liability insurance. Just when you thought you heard it all. I'm ashamed to live here.

MA has among the strictest gun laws in the country. Vermont, which is about an hour north of here, has virtually no gun laws. Go figure. Western MA suffers because of the crap that goes on in Boston.

Going back to the original 13 colonies..New York, Mass, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware have watered down their Right to Bear Arms in their Bill of Rights.. Its pretty clear in the rest of them. Ummmm...Blue States anyone?

Article 16 (Vermont Bill of Rights) That the people have a right to bear arms for the defence of themselves and the State

Vermont is a huge hunting state and I don't think they would want to do anything to discourage hunters, especially the out of state ones! At least one Northeast state gets it! I have friends in Randolph VT with a motel, so if MA gets really bad, my new address would move north. Believe it or not VT is an expensive state to live in. Real estate is high and they tax social security!
