HVAC LED Swap

Finally got all my LED's in to swap out the burnt pieces of crap stock bulbs. Overall I am very pleased. Nice super white. The HVAC takes two Tall Type B (T4) Neo Wedge and 1 Short Type B (T4) Neo Wedge. Got the bulbs from www.superlumination.com .... next up is the guages.

it comes out the same way as your headunit comes out. the hvac unit just has a cable on the back, which is a pita to disconnect so dont disconnect it, but you should have enough room to just change your bulbs. ie pullout top bin, pull din surround, start removing some screws. i would pull the radio and din/cd pocket so it gives you more room. the hvac unit has enough room so you can flip it over, or see the bulb sockets on the backside. you can do the 'disable auto a/c mod' if it interests you.

I took my HVAC unit out. I had a hard time getting the bulb in towards the bottom that lights up the middle knob, and three buttons. The top two were uber easy though. The ols ones twist off and he new ones twist on.
