Hello from Chicago

Hi, my name's German.
I do not own a b15 (yet) but I was looking to buy a 2003 se-r with a 100k miles on it.
What things should I look at on that car? What are the weak points of it? I saw another one few days ago, but it was auto and had a set of minor problems on it.
I will be using (and slightly abusing) it every day for work (pizza delivery) and maybe one or two track days per year, so I need a fairly fast car that can handle my driving.

welcome aboard!

please read the precat and butterfly faq in the tech section!!!

other common problems include blown headgasket and oil consumption. mostly you can listen to the car during a cold startup, see if the timing chain rattles. other than that, just look for everything else, no ses light, normal idle, etc.
