Alternator whine problem
I know this sounds bad and isnt worthy of a thread, but heres my problem. I was working on the problem to fix it (only coming from the left rear speaker), and it seemed to me that I had fixed it. Then I realized that I wasnt getting and sound from the rear speakers at all.
After rigging it to where all speakers are working, the alternator whine went from the left rear speaker to the right front speaker???? Does anyone know what the hell happened and why it is coming from only 1 speaker? |

are you getting speaker whine or alternator whine?
this is bad, is worthy of a thread, however, threads have been made for both occurences. have you searched thru all the threads? check the battery terminals and grounds for tightness, and good connection. check the battery voltage motor on&off. check for other bad grounds or bad connections to your speakers.

Only from one speaker off an amp powering more than the one? That's a new one. Make sure your power and signal wires don't go down the same of the car, make any points where they cross 90*, blah blah. Or just add an inline ground loop isolator, available anywhere. IF they're powered by your deck, I've got no clue but unhook them and turn up the bass

Yeah, typically whine indicates a grounding problem.
