Who has replaced their ECM...and why??
Looks like I have to replace my ECM. I have had a couple of codes that neither I or my mechanic can fix.
If you have had replace your ECM...why did you replace it? Did it fix the problem? How much did it cost you...altogether. |

I had to replace my original ECM, that was designated for an auto, for a manual. I did a transmission swap and the original ECM was throwing U1000 and U1001 codes. I bought the ECM for 100 bucks shipped. It's a "G4" , designated for 5 speed 1.8's from 04-06.
