i'll take a shot at it first... if it doesnt work, then i'll find another way.
Thanks though

Hey everyone, i just did it, took me 2 hrs, not too bad. Thank you very much for your instructions, and highlighted the bolts. that help a whole lot.
the screws itself were kinda loose, but good that nothing fell through. so loctited it and tightened it.
THANKS

Problem after loctiting!!!

My 03' was running fine but I wanted to be sure to loctite the screws. Once open, I found that the first screw was missing in runner one and the butterfly was crooked. Anyway, I straightened it out and loctited the remaining screws. Put everything back together and started her up. Now she idles very rough and bogs down. She even stalled out on me. Car is now making a hissing sound like there is a leak somewhere but I can't find it. Help someone?
BTW, she revs al the way up.

Wouldn't recommend it unless boosted, you will lose a ton of torque down low without them.

If these guys are loose, would you be able to hear them at about 2500rpm. i think im hearing them and not some valves.

I read the whole thread and didn't find these questions:

How can you tell if the screws have been tightened with red loctite? Can you damage anything by loosening screws that have been tightened with that stuff on them already (i.e. ruining the threads)? The guy I bought the car off of said they were re-tightened, but I'm all for still checking them out. I just don't want to break anything.

Thanks.

If they are tightened down with loctite, they will be nearly impossible to break loose, unless you use a heat gun to break down the loctite. 250-350*F will do it. If you do not heat them up you might round the phillips out, thus making them impossible to remove without a drill. These screw are tiny, be very careful in there.
