gas? performance mods?
So since there will be a new 2011 Spec V in fam... do you need to run premium gas only? Is 89 and 87 octane exceptable or does the car missfire a **** ton like mine?
I notice it says premium gas but is it only a recommendation? How does E10 gas effect the cars performance? Next question. i havent seen alot of vendors on this site which leads me to believe this is a small network of Sentra enthusiasts... What kind of performance mods give the best bang for the buck? Im think K&N typhoon intake since it hasnt done me wrong on the Cobalt SS. Not too interested in exhaust mods. Are there any mods that can be done to engine? What kinda of tuning do you guys do and what does it usually yield? links to exceptable performance sites and vendors would be appreciated. |

Always run premium (91 or 93) whichever is in your area.
As for e10 I assume your referring to 10% ethanol mix, I get that seasonly here and notice no effect from it. But dont cheap out on the gas put down the .20 cent a gallon more. And looking to mod engine and leave stock exhaust, really. Intake, header, exhaust are prolly your best and should be first places to look for extra power and better mileage. If your really worried about it being too loud, get a big resonator and / or turbo exhaust. as for tuning may want to look into Uprev / Osiris as I know they do 04+ b15. |
