i have the same car....and all i got is a short ram...lol but someone told me that our only options is to either boost with nitrous or forced induction?....but idk about turbo in a automatic car...but ive seen it done before... so on this one its ur call man... or u can just trade ur car in for a spec...lol i almost did that

Weight reduction perhaps; fat bitches are expensive dates anyway.

i have a 1.8 too, look at my mods in my sig. since theres not much you can do about speed(unless you spend a lot of $), just do handling and cosmetics

Not much you can do for power.....although there are a few things out there but you are going to spend a good amount of money for not much horsepower.
As said already, suspension is going to be your best bet.

I would not put anything more onto it. If you feel that the car is too loud and so annoying, that you have to blast your car stereo to muffle it out, why not go with a resonator? Those dont really give power, but quiet it out a tad.
Last i heard was Colt Cams were supposed to release cams for the 1.8's, but also heard that running another intake camshaft on the exhaust position would help a bit. I really wouldnt go that route, but your car right now is getting the best in MPG. You can also try to Port Match your Intake Manifold and head of the car, but its not worth $600 or more for a wimpy 6hp gain. Plus you would need to run a stronger fuel pump, injectors, and some type of fuel controller or piggy back. It just gets more expensive as you go along. I have basic bolt ons and see that the 1.8s do benefit more fuel economy vs Stock, but the power gain isnt really noticeable until the higher rpm scale.

Not really. Lol. Either turbo it, or try getting a spec.
It's either those, or work on the suspension. 1.8 will never be fast. |

Sorry, your car does not run low 14's unless you're turbo'd.
