Ok, so two quick questions:

Anyone dynatmat the back of the door panels also (the plastic panels) and if so did you leave th padding off? I was thinking of ripping all the padding off, dynatmat it then glue the padding back ontop the dynatmat. . .anyone see a problem?

Second, the metal doors are two skins, anyway to get to the actual outside skin and dynatmat it? or just the front part? Hope that makes sense. I ripped all that plastic crap off the inside skin, hope that doesnt hurt anything.

Thanks all

the plastic helps seal against rain getting the inside of the plastic panel & fabric. If you seal it completely with dynamat you'll be fine.

I wouldn't use the matting on the inside of the plastic panel, spray would be much easier and more effective IMO.

which padding under the panels are you talking about? I don't seem to remember there being anything besides the plastic panel......?

I would make sure this is completely sealed. If not, you stand the chance of ruining your speakers from water damage.

I wouldn’t remove the inside padding from the door either. In many places that padding gives the door the thickness it needs to keep a solid fit. If you remove it, it may not fit properly and you may get even more rattles. Lord knows, the car rattles enough on its own.

That's what I did, I dynamated it (most of it) then put the padding back.

The same w/ the plastic "crap." Took it out, dynamated the door, put it back, put self adhesive foam on top of it. :)

outer skin, its easy to do. you can get to it with the door panel off.
