It will cost me $150 total w/ antena (included) and Ai-Net to RCA cable ($14.99) as opossed to $250 retail (~$190 e-bay + shipping) for the Alpine tuner, which comes w/o an antenna, so add another $50.. for a total of $240-300.

I have a pioneer unit similar to that one. I think its better then changing the whole headunit.

Are you talking about the Alpine receiver? $160??? at best-buy? Are you sure? If that's the price, yeah, but I dont see how best buy sells it for less than e-bay, unless it is "an offer" if you buy more of their stuff.

I guess you did not read my question carefully. The $250 retail ($190 ebay) is for the Alpine tuner, and as fas as I know, BB does not carry Alpine.

I have it in my Spec and I love it. If you can wait till tomorrow afternoon, I can take some pics and upload them for you to see. I bought mine at circuit city. It fits perfectly in the space right under the A/C controls.

Please do post pics, that's where I want to install mine too. No need for any kind of faceplate?

Please post the link to the pics here.

Thanks

Thanks, it does look good, although I thought it would be "flush" w/ the pocket.

The reason I want the Alpine is that my HU has the controller for it, so one less device visible. Price is kinda high though, plus I will need to buy an antenna too, which would cost me easily $230 + for everything

But the Commander does look good and it is CHEAP and comes w/ everything, so I will probably go w/ it. CC has it for $134.
