WEll. I felt like making a new thread.. so sue me..

I am 100% sure having zero gauge magic wire in my car is a total waste, and overkill.. I think I'm gonna take it out.. it looks rediculous under my hood.. I have my 4 gauge which I will put back in its place. 99% of everyone on car audio forums said 4 gauge extra is enough for almost any 1000Wrms amplifer. They also felt zero gauge is just a waste on my small wattage car. I also feel its nothing I could notice anyway between 4 gauge and 0 gauge..
so im going to take off my zero and put my 4 gauge ALT to batt back in now.

So I guess I could sell my pre-made zero gauge ALT to BATT cable if anyone is interested.. I'll have to figure out how much it cost me in parts. This might be good for someone running 1000Wrms to the subs alone, but its just a waste for me..

For any noob that STILL doesnt know where a magic wire goes.. See the fat silver wire going from alternator to battery positive.

And a couple pics of the wire which is now out, and my 4 gauge is back in.

I thought zero gauge would be thicker than that for some reason.

Hmmm, yeah, now that I look at it a second time it kind of does look bigger. Specially in the one of it still under the hood.

(I know, I know... Let the jokes begin.)

yeah 1/0 is some huge crap
I'm using it for my battery ground, then 4ga for the rest of the "big 3" wiring

I'm probably just looking at the picture wrong, but I swear I see a large power wire with a fuse coming off the - battery terminal..arent power wires supposed to come from the + side? (..I have a feeling I'm about to get owned on this one...)

Look closer, the fuse is on a red wire coming off of the +. It does look like it's on the ground wire, but the ground wire is black and the wire in the fuse is red.

ya you can see a tiny yellow connector going under the red positive cover cap.. although its not yellow.... the camera just made it yellow..

i still need to find a battery terminal with three 4 gauge inputs, and one 8 gauge input. I dont think I'll ever find the perfect piece.

Hey plac long time no post....I know Monster makes some battery clamps with 3 4 AWGS and at LEAST one 8 AWG but if not check out Scosche EFX or Rockford Fosgate. My buddy has one from Rockford that had 2 4 AWGS and 2 8AWGs

Trying to figure out why you need that ability for a batter term....

Some of what I use.... I have the "Magic 3", 0AWG, and 2 amps..... does the trick

I finally updated my site still have to take more pics.. but there are some good wires ones in it...

I saw a Monster competition one that had 3 4AWG outputs and one 8 AWG output the other day at the store. If I see one again I'll pick it up for you. You want one with 3 4AWGS and one 8 AWG right?

ya, triple 4 gauge, and single 8. that will cover all 4 wires that now go to my positive battery terminal.

check with me any day before you buy it. knowing me, i could buy it online as soon as i find it.

how much do they typically cost? I am experiance some bit of dimming in my car after the sub/amp install.

Are these wires that I just buy and make myself or do they have a kit for it.

placenta

you make it youself.

i have a zero gauge ALT to BATT wire i took off.. custom made, ready to bolt on. i can sell it.. but its overkill unless you have over 1000Wrms sub.

it will cost however much you can find the wires and terminals for. There's no kit, but you need ~10ft of 4ga wire and 6 ring terminals to do all 3 of the "magic 3". Should run you around $15 if you buy online, ~$25 if you get it in a store.
